LineageOS 14.1
**1.**Please read the help thread before you point out issues here. It has been created specifically to help new users to adapt to custom roms easier. Before you post your issue, please check if it has already been reported and if a fix has already been mentioned.
**2.**When you post a bug or mention an issue, it is assumed that you are running no additional mods that could cause that bug/issue. If you have made any additional changes, you need to mention that when you mention the bug/issue, else it confuses all users and I waste time looking to a bug that doesn’t even exist. (1,2,3) is a classic example of this.
**3.**I have retained volume levels from the stock rom. If you find it low, use a kernel manager like EKKM and modify it to suit your needs. I’d rather have them at stock levels than making someone deaf.
**4.**I would recommend flashing the stock N rom before you flash this rom. This is required to fix small ssues that may occur otherwise, fingerprint registration fc being one of them.
**5.**Reliance Jio users, take note. Jio needs mobile data to work. If you change mobile data to a different sim in a dual sim environment, Jio sim will deactivate itself. Its not a bug.
**6.**The following camera app’s work on this ROM. Snap / Moto Camera ( both built into the rom ) and Motorola camera.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

You will need to flash N firmware before flashing this rom.

How to install
From stock / other custom roms
Flash the N soak test rom. For models that can’t flash N firmware, you may encounter issues with this rom.
Copy the ROM zip on your phone
Reboot in TWRP Recovery mode
Backup your phone!
Format/Wipe system, cache, dalvik, data
Flash/Install ROM
Flash Install Gapps (OpenGapps ARM N 7.1 Mini is recommended)
Reboot
Upgrade from previous build
Download the update via OTA app.
Reboot in TWRP Recovery mode
Format/Wipe only cache, dalvik
Flash/Install ROM
Gapps flash is not required for a dirty flash as the backup script in the rom zip file backs up and restores gapps during ROM flash. You can flash gapps after rom flash if you choose to do so. OpenGapps ARM N 7.1 Mini is recommended.
